Boise State takes aggressive early adopter approach to NIL, others follow

When name, image and likeness was set in motion a year ago on July 1, Boise State took a different approach than its peers in the FBS. The Broncos formed an in-house agency to handle individual endorsements and group licensing, and assigned a former communications chief to represent the athletes in finding NIL deals.

It was an aggressive approach that was not shared by other schools at the time. Go figure: The school with the gaudy blue turf took the road less traveled.
