Deion Burks starts charitable NIL initiative based on on-field performance

The 2024 season kickoff arrives tonight as Oklahoma takes on Temple starting at 6 p.m. CT. It’ll be the true debut of several new Sooners, including receiver Deion Burks who’s already planning to make an impact on-and-off the field.

Prior to the start of the year and OU’s opener, Burks announced via social media a new charitable initiative he plans to back through his on-field performance. The redshirt junior wideout revealed that through the world of Name, Image and Likeness, both Burks and various businesses that support him will make a donation to a cause he’s picked out every time he catches a pass.
