Deion Sanders eager for players ‘to get truly compensated’ for name, image, likeness

The prospect of NCAA athletes being compensated for their name, image and likeness has long been debated in the world of collegiate sports, though it appears increasingly likely that athletes will be able to profit off such in due time. Former NFL star and first-year Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders is certainly eager for that day to come, too, as Sanders took to social media on Thursday urging the NCAA to allow for athletes to receive NIL compensation.
