Stroud, the rookie for the Houston Texans, became a major donor to The Foundation, an Ohio State name, image and likeness collective co-founded by former OSU quarterback Cardale Jones, the collective announced Monday.

The exact total of Stroud’s donation is not known, but The Foundation deemed him a “Platinum Donor,” a title reserved for those who donated $50,000-$100,000 to the collective.

Stroud is the first former athlete to become a major donor

With the quarterback only one year removed from Ohio State, it comes with the added twist of him giving to an NIL collective he benefited from himself.
