Local athletes benefitting from NIL

How local business and local athletes are helping each other

Sports means big business for colleges and universities across the country, but while those schools have raked in the profits from tickets sales and merchandise, the real stars of that business never saw a dime. But thanks to a new policy put in place last year BY THE N-C-A-A, student-athletes are finally starting to get a little bit of financial help, and here in the Treasure Valley, local businesses are stepping up to help those athletes both on and off the field.
