LSU rebranding LSU Gold for Bayou Traditions NIL collective
LSU athletics continues to throw support behind the Bayou Traditions NIL collective.
The LSU Gold premium content subscription service has been rebranded as LSU+, announced by the school on Tuesday night. Beginning at $8.99 a month, fans can watch docuseries, interviews and podcasts with a portion of proceeds going directly to Bayou Traditions.
The move comes after the Tiger Athletic Foundation created a new subsidiary, TAF Services Corporation (TAFSC) in July. TAFSC now provides fundraising services for the official LSU collective.
“We are excited about the direction of LSU+ and its alignment with the current landscape of collegiate athletics,” LSU athletic director Scott Woodward said in a statement. “This platform will not only continue to bring our fans – the best fans in college athletics – closer to their favorite teams, but it will also provide them with the unique opportunity to make their own impact by empowering student-athletes in the NIL space.”
