NIL Dollar Offers

I keep reading on these boards how program XYZ is able to offer a kid more $’s than UNC, thus, we got outbid. But do we really know how much each of these schools have to offer these players? Where are the receipts? Where did the $2M NIL number IN offered Ballo come from? I mean how do we know how much a program offered a target so many have posted on IC? A tweet? I would assume not all Ad deals are set from the beginning and more offers pop up as the season plays on. Especially a player that turns into more than we thought prior to the season.

From what I understand, the school itself cannot offer players money/salary. Boosters and companies wanting ballers promote their products, fund the NIL. UNC basketball has one of the largest fan bases in the country. We had the highest average home game attendance last season I read about. I see folks wearing UNC shirts/caps all over the place, domestic and international. When you go to a Dicks, Academy, etc… in NC, the racks with UNC clothes and accessories dwarf dook, state, wake, etc… you will have 10 racks of carolina stuff, a couple for dook, maybe one for state and next to nothing for wake.
