Ohio State ranks first in key NIL deal categories

There was a concern among those who have followed it close that Ohio State was behind on the name, image and likeness rule change. After reports that other programs were using NIL as a recruiting tool to entice top prospects to their school, and it appeared the Buckeyes were not, some Scarlet and Gray fans were worried the program may begin to fall behind.

As it turns out, however, that is not the case. Ohio State was on top of NIL from the get-go. The Buckeyes were just doing things differently than some other programs and, as it turns out, the Scarlet and Gray recruiting is as strong as ever.
