Six Texas Tech student-athletes were welcomed to Team Mahomes with a surprise visit by Patrick Mahomes on Friday

Adidas and Patrick Mahomes today announced the signing of six student-athletes at Texas Tech University to NIL deals, making them the inaugural cohort of Team Mahomes, the 3-time Super Bowl Champion’s NIL initiative with adidas. The deals come just weeks after adidas and Texas Tech announced a groundbreaking 10-year partnership that made adidas the official footwear, uniform, apparel and accessory partner of the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Micah Hudson (Football), NiJaree Canady (Softball), Jasmine Shavers (Basketball), Matthew Comegys (Golf), Sam Courtwright (Soccer) and TJ Pompey (Baseball) were welcomed to Team Mahomes with a surprise visit by Mahomes to Texas Tech’s campus, and were gifted customized Mahomes gear. The student-athletes joining Team Mahomes will participate in brand marketing campaigns, including for Mahomes’ signature shoe and apparel line with adidas.
